The secret world of Benjamin Bear is a show about a bear and his friend Howie, when their owners leave the room they come to life. In each episode they have different adventures with positive lessons to be learnt. In the latest episode, Max and his sister Eliza (the owners of the bears) have a hamster they need to look after for the weekend. Eliza was doubtful Max could look after the hamster. Max was trying his best but when he left his bedroom to get the hamster some more water, he leaves the hamsters cage open. Max and Eliza don't know but the hamster escapes. Benjamin and Howie look for the hamster but can't find it in time because Max and Eliza return to the room. They realise the hamster has escaped and look everywhere for it but cant find it. Benjamin and Howie can see the hamster going outside but cant alert their owners. . Benjamin and Howie try to help them find the hamster by making noises in the direction of the hamster and then hiding so they don't get caught. Meanwhile Max and Eliza are afraid their parents will be angry at them for not being responsible with the hamster. The parents are not angry at them and help in the search for the hamster. With the help from Benjamin and Howie's noises they find the hamster. The children realise that they need to be more careful with the cage and that they should not be afraid to discuss problems with their parents.
